Manifesto of Trust and Responsibility

1. What This Text Is About

This manifesto is neither advertising nor an investment promise.

It is a description of what trust in cryptocurrencies in general — and in the PIC project specifically — is built upon.

If, after reading this text, you are left with fewer illusions, then its purpose has been achieved.

2. Cryptocurrency and the Absence of a Responsible Party

Bitcoin and most decentralized systems do not have:

• a governing person,
• fiduciary responsibility,
• obligations toward users.

In such systems, there is no one to hold accountable.

This is not a flaw — it is the architecture itself.

Freedom in such systems exists together with the absence of guarantees.

3. The Illusion of “Trustless”

The term trustless does not mean the absence of risk.

It means:

• the rules are fixed in code,
• changes are possible only through consensus,
• users bear the consequences of their own decisions.

Code does not make promises.

A protocol does not assume responsibility.

4. The Fundamental Difference of the PIC Project

PIC is a blockchain project built on Stellar, but it is not a system without responsibility.

Within the Project:

• there is an administrator,
• there is managed logic,
• there are decisions made by a human being.

Management decisions within the Project are made by the Project administrator.

I do not hide the existence of the human factor, nor do I rely solely on the term “decentralization.”

5. Trust Not Only in a Person, but Also in the Architecture

PIC is not a fully trustless system — this is a conscious choice.

At the same time, the Project is structured so that:

• key rules are technically fixed,
• token flows are separated,
• the Project architecture includes technical restrictions and separation of asset flows.

The administrator manages processes, but the system is designed to minimize the possibility of arbitrary control over assets.

6. Responsibility and the Human Factor

The Project relies on:

• code,
• structure,
• and the personal responsibility of the Project administrator.

The primary factor of responsibility within PIC is the Project administrator.

And I believe it is important to speak openly about this.

7. Money and Responsibility

I do not promise:

• guaranteed returns,
• token price growth,
• absence of market losses.

Project funds:

• are used for their declared purposes,
• are not held in unrestricted personal control,
• are directed into the Fund structure.

Trust is not the absence of risk.

It is an understanding of its source.

8. Who This Project Is Not For

PIC is not suitable for those who:

• seek quick speculative gains,
• shift responsibility to others,
• expect guarantees.

This Project is for those who:

• understand risk,
• think long term,
• prefer honesty over promises.

9. Conclusion

Cryptocurrency can be a system without a word.

PIC is a system where a word exists, but it is reinforced by architecture.

This manifesto is not protection from mistakes.

It is protection from illusions.
